Joe M. Pirtle Elementary has served students and families of Belton ISD since 1999. Our current enrollment is approximately 590 students in grades K-5. At Pirtle, our staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole child. Our goal is to ensure all students have a physical, academic, emotional, and social school climate that is safe, friendly, and student-centered. We strive to establish an environment where our students feel valued, respected, and cared for so they are motivated to learn. Our staff teaches, models, and provides opportunities to practice social-emotional skills, including effective listening, conflict resolution, problem solving, personal reflection and responsibility, and ethical decision making. In union with students, staff, families and community members, we work collaboratively to prepare students to excel in further education, career, and citizenship. Thank you for sharing your children with us as we work together in guiding their educational journey.
